Our Research

Hoag Orthopedics is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was established in 2004 with a commitment to making new and meaningful discoveries through research that would benefit the orthopedic community. Since 2004, Hoag Orthopedics has matured into a comprehensive orthopedic clinical research organization with research that ranges from translational research (from the lab to bedside) to investigational medical devices and drug development, to outcome data registry and genomic investigation.

The research team expertise includes consultative services for all aspects of clinical research, from feasibility assessment and protocol development, to clinical trial management and regulatory compliance. Consultative work has helped develop exciting projects with innovative drug and device sponsors, as well as faculty – and fellow-initiated research projects. Presently, Hoag Orthopedics is conducting close to 30 research studies.
